Salient features of the  6^th LHMC Surgery PG Clinical Update From March 27^th to 30^th, 2025

1.     Clinical cases:

• Daily multiple, situation based, focussed, interactive, clinically oriented cases presented by postgraduates as in exit exams.

2.     Viva-voce: Dry run of interactive sessions with postgraduates along with self assessment of the participants in

• Radiology,
• Operative surgery
• Instruments and devices
• Pathology specimens.
• Significance of Thesis and Log Books.

3.     Lectures: Tips for knowledge substantiation from experts who have personal experience.

• How to prepare and approach theory and practical exams in MS & DNB surgery
• What after MS or DNB: Special focus on tips for those planning to go abroad.
• Perioperative management of surgical patients.
• Minor surgical procedures.
• Recent advances.

4.     Ward rounds: Bed side management of surgical cases

• Multiple, short, live interactive post operative case presentations.

5.     OSCE: OSCE session will be conducted with feedback from experts.
